A Loving Mother, A Loving Grammy

Lillian Elin Kidwell is known for so many accomplishments; the affections of her children, the love of a husband, her incredible artistry, a giving spirit, and a huge heart for family. Those closest to her would fondly regale of the family beach trips as well as the Christmas Reunions. We all can remember cars parading down the driveway and on the street. The ceaseless knocking at the door as family and friends gather. Tables overflowing with food all around the kitchen. A tree with myriads of gifts for the love of her family. Christmas strutted upon anything that may hold an ornament. The gleam of green, red, and white lights adorn the house to advertise to all; the Annual Family Christmas Gathering has begun. From the time spent at the lake with her sisters to shopping at the outlets with daughters and ladies of her family she has left a legacy of love, generosity and family pride. Mom, Aunt Lil, Grammy we will miss you very much.

She is the wife of the late James Kidwell Sr. and mother of five miraculous children; Jenny, Jimmy Jr. (deceased), Richard (wife Miyuki), Ronnie (wife Kris), and Judy (husband Neel Sr.). Those wondrous children gave birth to a legacy of twelve grandchildren; Maranda (husband Brandon), Paul (wife Jessica), Cole, Casey (husband Jordan), Lydia, Alex, Jacob, Emma, James III, Johnathan, Bryn, and Neel Jr. That heritage every furthered through eight great-grandchildren; Caleb, Jonathan, Abigail, Raegan, Maggie, Peyton, Austin, and Samuel. She is the baby girl of 4 siblings; two older sisters, Carol and Ann, as well as a younger brother, Harry.

As long as Lillian's' family and friends live, she will live; our memories never truly perish. (Carpe Diem)

A celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville.
