Lillian Kemp
October 28, 1942 — September 27, 2017
Mrs. Lillian Rosealee Kemp, 74, of Harpers Ferry, WV and formerly of Rockville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 after a brave fight with leukemia. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Kemp, who died in June of 2007.
Born October 28, 1942 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Mildred R. (Redmond) Bort.
Lillian was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Midge Garrett (Mike), Missy Pangburn (Russ), and Mindy Kurz (Randy); 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her dog, Roxy; and two brothers, William Bort and Tom Bort.
Lillian was predeceased by two brothers, Harry "Butch" Bort and Paul Bort;
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 30 from Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Interment will follow in Forest Oak Cemetery, Gaithersburg.
