Lewis Allan Bevier, Jr, 71, of Frederick, MD, died peacefully, Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born February 17, 1945 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Lewis Allan Bevier, Sr., and Nanon Stewart Bevier.
Lewis is survived by his loving wife of almost 48 years, Karen Duey Bevier; daughter, Michele Bevier De La Rosa and husband, Kevin; and grandchildren, Andrew, Blair and Kaitlynn, all of Frederick; sister, Nanon Robinette Bevier Rudy of Knoxville, TN; his niece Ann Hundley and husband, Michael and children Elizabeth and Brandon of Hickory, NC; and nephew, David Rudy of Knoxville, TN.
A gathering of friends and family will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lewis’ life.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to his alma mater at Fishburne Military School, 225 S. Wayne Avenue, Waynesboro, VA 22980. The family would like to thank the Frederick Memorial Hospital doctors, nurses and staff for their care in the last weeks of his life.
