Mr. Lester Eugene Burrier, 87, of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Citizens Care and Rehab Center.
Born on January 19, 1926 in Walkersville, MD he was the son of the late Daniel L. and Willanna Lightner Burrier.
Lester proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a mechanic the majority of his life. He was also a fire fighter for Fort Drum. Lester enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with this grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons Lonnie Burrier and wife Barbara of Thurmont and Larry Burrier and wife Toni of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren David L. Burrier and wife Hunter, Brian E. Burrier, Matthew Burrier and Amanda Burrier; brother Roland Burrier.
He is preceded in death by his siblings James, Leonard, Raymond, Daisy and Eleanor.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at 1PM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
