Mr. Leslie J. Rushbrook, 86, of Frederick, MD passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on October 10, 1927 in Highland, Michigan, he was the son of the late Leslie H. and Vera Otto Rushbrook.
Leslie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement he worked for I.B.M. as a Systems Analyst. Leslie loved to dance, fish, visit the mountains, Ocean City, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children Stanley and wife Phyllis of Germantown, Bradley and wife Mary of Smithsburg, Joyce and husband Tom of Adamstown and Susan and husband Marc of Martinsburg; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret of VA and Barbara of TN.
He is preceded in death by his son Leslie Craig and sister Betty Sisk.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at
Peoples Baptist Church, 6648 Carpenter Rd, Frederick, MD 21703
Inurnment will follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 4th, at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery in Flintstone, MD.
