Leslie Rosin Dent

Leslie Rosin Dent, 84, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Born on March 21, 1940, in Portland, OR, she was the daughter of Alvin Rosin and Dorothy (Evelyn) Lanziotti.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed. 

Ms. Dent is survived by her daughters Leslie Ann Dent Gurewitz (Greg), and Patricia Dent-Lewis (Rick), as well as her grandchildren Alyssa Lewis (Michael Harner), Jake Gurewitz, Matthew Gurewitz, and Zoe Dent, as well as a daughter-in-law, Zora Dent.  She was preceded in death by a son, Peter D. Dent, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 17 at 2:00 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, 5740 Green Valley Road, New Market, MD 21774. Interment will be on Saturday, January 18 at 12:00 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church Cemetery, 22598 Oakley Road, Avenue, MD 20609.
