Leslie Benenati

Leslie T Benenati, 65, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 22, 1953, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Philip Irving Trupp and Regina Klein Lust.
She was the loving wife of 41 years to Luciano Anthony Benenati.
Leslie graduated from Montgomery College in 1975, during when she was first introduced to Luchi.
After 30 years as an OBGYN nurse, Leslie retired in 2003, where she worked with her sister as a travel consultant.
Leslie was the president of Congregation Or Chadash in Damascas, MD.  She also loved being involved with her sons PTA while in grade school.
Throughout her life, Leslie has touched the lives of so many with a guiding voice, advice, comfort, steady calmness.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Philip J. & Andrew S. Benenati.  Sisters, Suzanne Trupp, Beth Trupp, and Dana Shuman and her husband Al.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
A celebration of Leslie's life journey will follow at 10am at Stauffer Funeral Home. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.
