Leroy Hartswick

Leroy E. Hartswick, 92, of Frederick, MD, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital on Friday, September 16, 2016. Leroy was born July 22, 1924 in Altoona, PA to Katherine and John Robert Hartswick. He worked for the Veterans Administration as a computer systems analyst for 35 years and his interests included golfing, bowling, reading and taking walks.
He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Janet L. (Reeder) Hartswick; brother, John R. Hartswick, Jr.; and survived by his three children, Thomas G. (Lulu) Hartswick, John G. (Diane) Hartswick and Helen L. Cooke; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren and his brother Lester P. Hartswick.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Monday, September 19 from 6-8 pm and where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11 am.
