Leonard Howard

Leonard Nathaniel Howard, 92, of New Market, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy, MD.
Born on May 29, 1926, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Elvin Andrew Howard and Mamie (Duvalle) Howard.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Rose "Jerri" Howard in 2008.
Leonard was a packer for the Security Storage Moving Company.
He loved spending time with his family and dearly loved his Westie, Tina.
He is survived by his son, Leonard "Butch" Howard and his wife Christine Anne of Olney, MD; grandchildren, John M. Howard and Sara N. Howard both of Olney, MD.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Elizabeth Ferguson, Bob Howard, Irene Coleman and Phyllis Dorcas.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering and reception from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621
Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
Interment Private.
