Mr. Leo R. Guyton, 98, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Somerford Assisted Living. He was the husband of the late Beulah Hoffman Guyton, who died January 30, 1983.
Born January 29, 1915 in Burkittsville, MD., he was the son of the late Russell and Lilly May Hightman Guyton.
Leo was a graduate of Boys High School. During WWII, he worked for Glenn L. Martin in Baltimore, installing radio equipment in airplanes. In 1945 he went to work in the Service Department at Sears Roebuck in Frederick retiring in 1980. He held an advanced amateur radio license. His hobbies were photography (developing his own pictures) as well as building and flying kites.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Dolores Summers and her husband Arthur. Mr. Guyton was the last of his immediate family.
