Lee Hogg

Mr. Lee Arlington Hogg, 55, of Monrovia, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016, at his residence. He was the husband of Jane Elizabeth Shepherd Hogg, his wife of 31 years.

Born on January 27, 1961, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Marshall Lee and Betty Lou Johnson Hogg. Lee was an environmental scientist working in soil and water testing for land and building site development. He was a Certified Professional Geologist, a member of the Association of Engineer Geologists, as well as the NRA and the Sigma Pi Fraternity. Lee enjoyed carving and woodworking, drawing and painting, skeet shooting and especially rock collecting.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children: David M. Hogg of Frederick and Rebekah J. Hogg of Lineboro; a brother Philip M. Hogg of Milton, WV and his sister-in-law, Bette A. Shepherd and husband David Dickmyer of Lineboro.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM on Friday, April 22, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy where funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM.

Interment will be private.
