LeDora S. Babe , 86, of , Buckingham's Choice formerly of Glenn Dale, Maryland passed from this life on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Buckingham's Choice in Adamstown, MD
Born on February 11, 1931, in Erie, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Edward Schaack and Velma (Nick) Schaack.
LeDora loved to travel. She enjoyed many trips to Hilton Head, South Carolina and cruising to the Bahamas, Alaska and Hawaii. She also loved to read devotional books.
She is survived by son, Robert Babe, Jr. and his wife Janice; daughter, Linda Etchells; granddaughter, Shannon Babe-Thomas, grandson, Michael Babe, great-grandson, Caden Thomas, Liam and Connor Babe.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
A celebration of LeDora's life journey will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Middletown United Methodist Church, 7108 Fern Circle in Middletown, MD. Dr. Rev. Sarah B. Dorrance will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
