Lawrence Crist

Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Eugene Crist, 33 of Frederick, Maryland passed away Tuesday night, March 15, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Larry was the husband of Misty Crist. They were married for 11 years and were high school sweethearts.
Born March 16, 1977 in Frederick, MD he was the son of Michael and Sally Crist of Frederick.

Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Frederick. He attended the church his whole life and he was recently saved in August of 2010.

He was employed as an electrical assembler for Global Defense Technologies. He was a 1996 graduate of Frederick High.

Larry’s most treasured time was spending it with his wife and children. He loved being a father. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking with his family. He loved the outdoors.

He collected Star Wars memorabilia. He loved attending cub scouts with his son and he was looking forward to watching his daughter play her first high school games.

In addition to his loving wife Misty and his parents he is survived by his two children, Hali Nicole Crist and Michael Lawrence Crist, both of Frederick, his paternal grandmother, Betty Crist of Frederick, maternal grandmother, Alice Lawson of Mt. Airy, his brother-in-law, Sean Main.

He will also be remembered by his other family members and his numerous friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Lawson and his paternal grandfather, Charles Crist.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, March 19th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A memorial service celebrating Larry’s life will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 20th at 3:00PM with Dr. Rev. Larry Eubanks officiating. A reception being held at First Baptist Church of Frederick, located at 7040 Bowers Road, Frederick MD, 21702.
