Lawrence L. "Larry" Covell 62, of Frederick, passed away on Sunday December 2, 2012 at his home. He is the husband of Joni Covell.
He was born on October 15, 1950 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Clarence and Mildred Covell.
He was an avid fisherman and a highly skilled craftsman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Colby J. Covell and wife Amanda of Hagerstown and daughter Ashley B. Testerman and husband Roger of Smithsburg. Four grandchildren Aiyana Covell, Kaden Kettleman, Caisyn Covell and Addison Testerman. Also survived by his dog Sadie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Services and interment will be private.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Religious Coalition to help with the Alan P. Linton Homeless Shelter, 27 DeGrange Street, Frederick, MD 21702 or to the Community Action Agency to help with the Soup Kitchen Program, 100 South Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701
