Mr. Lawrence J. "Larry" Burns, 87, a resident of Country Meadows in Frederick, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Born on November 6, 1928, Ocala, FL he was the son of the late Herbert J. and Mary M. Burns.
Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was an engineer with AT&T for the majority of his career.
Surviving are four children: Larry Burns, Mike Burns, Sharon Burns and Neil Burns; three grandchildren: Rachele Burns, Sean Burns and Brooke Burns; two sisters: Kathleen Burns and Pauline Arena.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Virginia Ams, Herbert Burns and Doris Burns
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, August 18, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
