Laverne Terrill

Laverne Clifford "Shorty" Terrill, 83 of Woodsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at his residence.
Born on June 5, 1934 in Barberton, Ohio, he was the second child of four children. Shorty's long career as a qualified heavy equipment machinist earned him many certificates. He also received certification with The United States Coast Guard. He was a great musician like his father, enjoyed the outdoors piddling around his home. Anyone that knew him knew he was a social bug and had a laugh no one could forget.
Surviving are two children: Linda Remsburg of Tennessee and Tony Terrill of South Carolina; as well as additional grandchildren, brother, sisters, cousins, and dear friends will greatly miss the many blessings he brought into all our lives. He has joined his son Raymond Terrill and in heaven.
Services and interment will be private.
