Laureen Valentine

Laureen “Reenie” (Mangum) Valentine, 55, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away on December 2, 2018 at Doeys House in Hagerstown surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the wife of 10 years to Jemal Valentine.
Born on May 4, 1963, in Massachusetts she was the daughter of Willis Leroy and Geraldine Evelyn Mangum Jr. Laureen was a 1981 graduate of Boonsboro High School and was the business owner of LRA Associates LLC doing accounting as a Quickbooks Advisor. She was an active member of the Hagerstown Rotary Club and was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Taylor Laureen Claudette Angle and Terceira Rose Previti and husband Paul; step-children, Devon Alexander Valentine and Jazmin Alexandra Valentine; granddaughter, Isabella Rose Previti. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Ida Valentine and David Valentine; grandmother: Violet Miller; siblings: Leroy (Barbara) Mangum, Charlie (Liz) Mangum, Ginger (Brad) Kio, Jeff (Sheila) Mangum, Ronna Mangum, Kaureen (Rob) Whittaker, and Kathleen Theisen, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Trey Angle, and her grandparents: Willis and Virginia Mangum, John and Claudette Terceira, Robert Miller, and Edna Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the funeral home Father Todd Young will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Mark’s Cemetery, Boonsboro.
