Laura Lynn (Canoles) Saville, 53, of Keedysville, Maryland passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Washington County Hospital.
Born on August 5, 1956 in Winchester, Virginia, she was the daughter of Leona Loretta (Smith) Canoles of Keedysville, Maryland and the late Henry Baker Canoles.
Laura was a 1974 graduate of Boonsboro High School.
She was a member of the Burnside Church of God in Sharpsburg, Maryland.
She was employed for many years as a clerk at the Boonsboro Post Office.
Laura is survived by her husband, Steven L. Saville, Sr. of Keedysville, Maryland; her two daughters, Loree L. and her husband Terry Hahn of Keedysville and Sherry S. and her husband, K.C. Reed also of Keedysville; her son, Steven L. Saville, Jr. and his wife Heather of Keedysville; five brothers, Eddie, Henry, Artie, Skeeter and Denny Canoles all of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; and seven grandchildren, Stacie L. Hahn, Marisa P. Carson, Brittany L. Hahn, Jessie L. Hahn, Makayla E. Varron, Colton B. Saville, and Lila K. Reed. She is also survived by three nephews, Brian, Nathaniel, and Mark Canoles.
Laura was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Taylor L. Saville, in 1999.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street, Hagerstown. Pastor Ernest E. Witmer will officiate.
Friends are invited to visit beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, where the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
