Larry P. Slack, Sr.

Larry P. Slack, Sr., 69, of North Main Street, Keedysville, died on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Katherine R. (Embrey) Slack. His wife, Emelie L. (Burt) Slack died in 2008.
Larry was self employed as a Sheet Metal Mechanic and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church near Boonsboro.
He is survived by one daughter, Rhea Slack of Keedysville; two sons, Larry P. Slack, Jr. of Cumberland, Md., & Elmer Lee Slack and his wife Kim of Gaithersburg, MD; five grandchildren, Justin, Carly, Kristina, Kelly and Carrie Slack; and his daughter-in-law Connie and her daughters Chelsea and Danielle.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Slack.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, located at the corner of Mt. Carmel Church Road and Rt. 67 near Boonsboro. The Rev. Mark Waldron will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
