Larry Sutherland

Larry (Don) Sutherland, 77, of Sharpsburg, Maryland died on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 26 years and the devoted partner of 33 years to Kathleen Sutherland.
Born on May 25, 1942 in Carbo, VA, he was the son of the late Overton and Bidy (Kiser) Sutherland.
Larry worked for CXS Railway working as a conductor for almost 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed working outdoors, tending to his vegetables, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by his sister, Rebecca Chafin of Carbo, VA; two nephews; and three great-nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Sutherland.
