Larry Merle "Bud" Lescalleet Jr., age 31, of 332 Lanafield Circle, Boonsboro, MD, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at Washington County Hospital.


Born Feb. 24, 1976 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Larry Merle Lescalleet Sr. and Pamela Lynn Hanes Lescalleet of Boonsboro.


Bud graduated from Marshall Street School in 1997 and he attended United Cerebral Palsy Center in Hagerstown.


He was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren.


In addition to his parents, Bud is survived by one sister, Dawn R. Scofield, husband Jim and children Avery, Taylor, Karli and Devin, all of Boonsboro; maternal grandparents, Glenn "Wink" and Doretha Hanes of Yarrowsburg; 13 aunts and uncles, Debbie and Dave Witmer of Boonsboro, Pixie and Tim Harsh and Glenn and Patty Hanes, all of Brownsville, Marvin and Sue Lescalleet of Rohrersville, MD, Marlene and Joe Rohrer of West Virginia, Terry and Bonnie Lescalleet of Boonsboro, and Jerry Lescalleet of Florida.


He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Merle and Evelyn Lescalleet, and maternal great-grandmother, Elsie Moore.


Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday at Brownsville Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Alan Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.


The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro.
