Larry Henson

Larry Elwood Henson, 65, of Hagerstown, passed from this life on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Meritus Medical Center.
Born on May, 18, 1948, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, he is the son of Donald R. Henson and wife Fern of Hagerstown, and the late Mertie R. (Beiler) Henson.
Larry was employed as a pest control operator with Terminix for over 20 years.
He was a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church in Hagerstown.
In addition to his father and step-mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Delaney) Henson; two sons, Patrick E. Henson of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, and Matthew L. Henson, Sr. of Rouzerville, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Ralph Henson and wife Bonnie of Boonsboro, Maryland, Daniel Henson and wife Linda, and Charles Henson, all of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Natasha Henson, Matthew Henson, Jr., and Patricio Henson; two step-grandchildren, Kelly and Elizabeth Burchfield; and one great granddaughter, Ava McFarland.
Larry was preceded in death by one brother, David Weatherholtz.
A graveside funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street in Hagerstown. Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate.
