Larry Jerome (Jeep) Carter, 57, of Frederick, Maryland went home on Monday November 18, 2013 at Shands Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fl where he resided for the past 2 months with his brother.  He was the loving son of Melvin Worthington of Westminster Maryland and the late Josephine Louise and James S. Snowden Sr. (step father) of Frederick, Maryland.

Mr. Carter is a graduate of Frederick High School.  He worked in the family moving business for many years.  He was a beloved son, father, brother and friend.  Larry was an avid Redskins fan, he loved to fish, play cards, pitch horse shoes and be amongst good friends.  Larry had a love for life, love for all people and always had a smile and a joke for everyone.

Surviving Mr. Carter are one daughter LaToya Lane of Georgia (Shandon), two sons Justin Carter of Westminster Maryland and Jarvis Dorsey of Frederick Maryland.  Grandchildren:  Nigel and Nadia Lane, Jayana and Layla Carter.  Siblings:   James Snowden Jr. (Antonia), Vicky Carter, Anita Snowden, Lisa Worthington, Louisa Worthington, Treena Worthington, Melvin Worthington Jr. (Linda) and Wendy Compose-Perez.
Proceeded in death by one sister Catherine (Poogie) Worthington

The family will receive friends and family on Friday November 29, 2013 from 6pm - 9pm at Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick Maryland.  There will be a viewing on Saturday November 30, 2013 from 9 am - 11am  at Asbury United Methodist Church, 101 West All Saints St. Frederick Maryland followed by funeral services.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
