Kyle William Stine

Kyle was born on November 4, 2008 and began his new journey, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at John Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore. Kyle will be sorely missed by his parents, Keith and Sarah Stine of Emmitsburg, and two younger brothers, Mason and Chase. He leaves behind his grandparents, William and Tracey Eckenrode, Dave and Sharon Stine, and his great-grandfather, Richard Stonsifer all of Thurmont. Kyle will be missed by many uncles, aunts, and cousins who loved him deeply.

Waiting for Kyle in heaven are his great-grandparents, Gene Eckenrode and Margaret Boone, Ralph and Joyce Dick, and Arthur and Mildred Stine.

Kyle was an old soul who always told people he was born in the wrong era. The 50's suited him much better. He preferred classic rock and 50's music, and old Chevy trucks and cars. Collecting older things, and antiques was something he loved, to his mother's dismay.

Kyle was a very curious and technical person. He enjoyed taking thing apart and seeing how they worked. He loved building and working on all sorts of projects. Because of this, his plan was always to become a mechanic and auto body repair technician. He was also very interested in blacksmithing.

Kyle's favorite thing to do was help his dad work on old tractors, cars, and trucks. He also loved riding tractors, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, go karts, and mini bikes with his brothers.

No one would disagree with Kyle being a very smart, kind, loving, determined, and protective young man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Kyle 's life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Rocky Ridge. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chad Tough Defeat DIPG Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, to help put an end to childhood cancer.
