Kirby Lee Toms

Kirby Lee Toms, 63 of Rocky Gap, VA passed away on November 25, 2023.  He was the husband of Tena George Toms of Petersburg, WV.  They were married on April 18, 1980.

Born on August 5, 1960 in Frederick, he was the son of Richard Kenneth Toms and Lelia Fahnestock Toms.  Surviving in addition to his wife is one son, Jason Daniel Toms of Wytheville, VA, one sister, Shelby of Hagerstown, MD two nieces and one nephew and several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kirby enjoyed spending time with his family and was a great outdoorsman.  Kirby was a Patriot Life Benefactor member of the NRA.  He enjoyed going to Allagash, Maine where he made friends with some very special people.

Kirby was a plumber by trade and worked on some beautiful homes in Potomac, MD.  He also coached Little League Football for several years.

Kirby was a member of the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren in Burkittsville, MD.

A graveside service will be held at 12:45PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, 12704 Wolfsville Rd., Wolfsville, MD 21783. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
