Kimberly Ann Saunders-Greene, 56, of Mount Airy, MD passed away peacefully while vacationing at Deep Creek, MD on July 16, 2013. Born March 12, 1957 in Akron, Ohio, Kim was the daughter of Robert L. Saunders and the late Judith B. Saunders. She is survived not only by her father but by her loving son Curtis Greene of TN, 2 step sons, Little Richard and 7 sisters, Debbie Saunders, Sue Burlew (husband Bill), Kathy Hart, Becky Hoffman (husband Jeff), Shannon Tomich, Danielle Ferguson (Husband Pat), and Merry Lehman, 4 brothers, Terry Saunders, Scott Saunders, Lane Saunders, and Ryan Saunders. Kim is also survived by numerous nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and Aunts. Kim is preceded in death by her mother Judy B. Saunders, husband Richard A. Greene, nephew Christopher Saunders, and her brother-in-law Rick Hart. Kim had a great love of music, animals, and gardening. She enjoyed reading and spending time with the family sitting around the pool. Kim had a heart bigger than the moon and was always there to listen. She was a long time friend of “Bill” and devoted to helping others. In 2006, she left VA to help take care of her ailing mother. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013, 11 AM, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael’s Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
