Kil Zinkham
June 11, 1942 — May 13, 2016
Mrs. Kil Ja Zinkham, 73 of Walkersville, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James Zinkham, her husband of 52 years.
Born in Hae Nam Korea she was the daughter of the late Dae Pyo Kim and Soom Shim Kim. Kil worked in her early years as a sales clerk and later retired as a clerk for State Farm Insurance in Frederick. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and trips to Dover Downs to play slot machines.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister Mak Dan Choe of Olney, MD, a niece Hye Young and husband Jared, and a nephew Jin James as well as two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews in Korea
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14 Pennsylvania Ave., Walkersville with Rev. Mark Foucart officiating.
Interment will be private
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14 Pennsylvania Ave., Walkersville, MD 21793.
