Kevin Lee Smith, age 57, of Keymar, MD passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness of the flu and pneumonia on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
Born on January 7, 1966, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, he was the son of Rodney William Smith and Christine Annette Smith.
Kevin graduated from Francis Scott Key High School, class of 1983. He worked construction most of his life and was a handyman of all trades.
Kevin's favorite place in the world was to be in the woods deer hunting with a bow or riffle. He would always say "the buck stops here boys!" He loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing, boating and riding his Harley. He had a love for Harleys and was a member of several motorcycle clubs back in the day.
Kevin could bring life to any party and will be remembered as one of the (AKA) Keymar boys! The Keymar boys traveled together, always in a pack...brothers forever no matter what! Keymar was a great place to grow up and Kevin will never be forgotten.
Kevin's pride and joy is his son, Eric Hunter Smith, and he was a brand new grandfather to a beautiful granddaughter, Addison Ann Smith.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Christine Annette Smith. He is survived by his dad, Rodney W. Smith of Keymar; brother, Brent W. Smith of Keymar; brother, Brian W. Smith of Hagerstown; his son, Eric Hunter Smith of Indiana; and granddaughter, Addison Ann Smith. He will be remembered by his special friend and brother, Tommy Martin of Union Bridge.
