Kevin Dwayne Barkdoll, 35, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
Born on April 2, 1980, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he is the son of Jerry W. Barkdoll of Boonsboro and Christine M. (Buck) Barkdoll of Hagerstown.
Kevin was a 1998 graduate from Boonsboro High School. He earned his Associate of Arts degree from Hagerstown Community College in 2000, and he achieved his Bachelor's degree from Salisbury University in 2002.
He was employed with Trans Ova Genetics in Boonsboro, Maryland.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Jason A. Barkdoll of Boonsboro; his maternal grandparents, Preston and Dorothy (Pepple) Buck of Hagerstown; and his paternal grandmother, Geneva (Miller) Barkdoll of Boonsboro.
Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Howard Barkdoll.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. Victor Moon will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville, Maryland.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
