Kevin Bantz

Kevin Michael Bantz born July 30, 1976, passed away unexpectedly at his home  on December 10, 2019 at the age of 43.    He was loved by his family and friends and especially known for his generous heart and eagerness to help others.  He was a devoted father to his son and daughter who were his pride and joy. Kevin was an electrician who loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with his kids.
Kevin is survived by his loving parents, Frederick and Susan Schlogel Bantz, of Mount Airy; daughter, Madison Marie of Frederick, MD and son, Aiden Michael; a sister, Michele Bantz and her husband Oscar Garcia;  grandmother, Charlotte Maurene Schlogel, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his adored  nieces, Isabella & Nina and his nephew, Kai. Kevin will also be fondly remembered by his soulmate, Belinda Shull.  He was preceded in death by his  grandparents, Frederick and Marie Bantz and Louis Schlogel, uncles, Mark and Paul Schlogel and a cousin, Michael Schlogel.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, MD 21771.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company or a charity of your choice.
