Kenneth "Kenny" Randall Staubs, 46, of Rohrersville, MD went to be with the Lord, to join Heaven's ultimate band on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Born May 12, 1970 in Charles Town, WV he was the son of Alvin Randall Staubs (Betty Mills) of Harpers Ferry and Cheryl Ann Coulter Staubs and her fiancé Robert Sterling of Knoxville, MD.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving sister Michelle Staubs and fiancé Blane Bidle of Knoxville, MD.
He will be greatly missed by his special aunt Nancy Coulter and maternal aunts Donna Coulter, Sharon Miller (Lisa,Taylor and Mason) and Susan Kim Sigler; paternal aunts Linda Myers, Sandra Smith, Ruby Cherry; uncles Gary Staubs, David Staubs and many special cousins. Kenny will be greatly missed by his lifelong best friend/brother JB Matson and lifelong friends Jason Hardy, Lenny Deener, Crystal Wyand Rice and many band members and fans in the music community. and coworkers. He will also be remembered by his special kitty cat, Callie and his special Labrador niece and nephew Harley and Katie.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Roberta Coulter and his paternal grandparents Vernon and Hazel Staubs and his special black lab Gallo.
Kenny attended Boonsboro High School, class of 1988. He attended FCC and Ferris State University where he received his certifications in HVAC and Refrigeration. He most recently worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Sierra Nevada Corporation in Hagerstown, MD. He previously worked for 9 years as a HVAC Technician at AboveAir Technologies. He attended Brownsville Church of the Brethren in his younger years. Kenny's passion was playing guitar in his recent band, War Injun and also played with Outside Truth and Loaded Goat in past years. Kenny was an avid Baltimore Raven's fan and also enjoyed Native American History. Most importantly Kenny loved spending time with this family and his many friends.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 2-4PM and 6-9PM. Per the family request in honor of Kenny, please wear your favorite Raven's or band attire. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 12PM at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Rd., Knoxville, MD 21758. Pastor Alan Smith will officiate.
Interment will follow at Brownsville Heights Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
