Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Ricketts, 53 of Thurmont, MD passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born September 11, 1961 in Frederick, MD he was the son of Waldo, Sr. and Willa Yeary Ricketts of Waynesboro, PA.
Kenny was the owner and operator of Groff Signs. He loved working with his hands and making frames for signs. He also enjoyed golf in his spare time.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings David Ricketts and significant other Susan Green, Waldo Ricketts, Jr. and wife Abbie, Linda Bowers and husband Brion, Donna Hesse and significant other Ronnie Gladhill and Jeff Ricketts and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2-3PM where a memorial service will begin at 3PM.
Interment will be private.
