Kenneth {Kenny} Clabaugh

Mr. Kenneth Kenny Clabaugh, 62 of Thurmont, MD, died, after a long battle, on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Jeanie Martin Clabaugh.

Born April 27, 1947 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Margaret Clabaugh Stull of Thurmont.

Mr. Clabaugh was the owner and operator of Clabaugh Construction and Gateway Enterprises. Kenny loved spending time with his family, gardening, flowers and his trips to Atlantic City.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Eskander and staff for all their kindness.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two children Missy Gilliam and husband Keith of Thurmont and Scott Clabaugh and finance Jessica Wagerman of Frederick, three grandchildren Cody Gilliam, Cory Gilliam and Colin Webb, three sisters Gail Mayhew of Sabillasville, Joanie Staub and husband Ernie of Emmitsburg and Debbie Stull of Thurmont, special aunt Rita Clingan, mother-in-law Hallie Martin, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lorraine and Denny Hoffman, nephew Danny Hoffman and wife Karen and children Jenna, Chase and Brynn. He will also be remembered by special friends Russ Delauter and Brian Reckley.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD, Thursday, September 17, from 7 - 9:00 p.m. and Friday, September 18 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Les Sims officiating.
Interment will be private.
