Kenneth James {Ken} Young

Mr. Kenneth James Ken Young, 51 of Monrovia died on Saturday January 17, 2009 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Tammie Arlene Young.
Born on January 6, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA. he was the son of the late Robert and Lorraine Herman Young.
He worked for Bechtel Power Corporation as a Design Engineer.
Ken loved his children and the music they made. Golf was his favorite thing to do and hitting golf balls around his yard and watching his dog Sam chase them. He was a member of the Bechtel Golf League and a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Ijamsville.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children Jordan Alicia, Zachary Kenneth and Seth Robert Young all of Monrovia. Brothers Kevin Young and wife Mary Kay and Keith Young and wife Mona all of Pittsburgh, PA. Uncle James Young and wife Julie.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 20, 2009 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, Maryland.
Services:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 21, 11:00am at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 4103 Prices Distillery Road, Ijamsville, Maryland. 21754. Rev. Michael J. Jendrek will be the Celebrant.
Interment will follow in All Soul's Catholic Cemetery, Germantown, Maryland.
