KENNETH WILSON

Mr. Kenneth Chester Wilson, 65, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Ruth Ann McLaren Wilson his wife of 31 years.
Born October 15, 1950 in Cumberland, Maryland, he was the son of the late Chester North and Flora Raygor Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was self-employed as a home improvement contractor for many years. He loved cooking, enjoyed the outdoors and was always willing to help his family or a friend.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Lori Shuff and husband Kevin of Walkersville, Melissa Wilson and husband Todd Reimer of Chicago and Rebecca Strawsburg of Boonsboro, seven grandchildren , siblings Bonnie Tipton, William Wilson and wife Wilma, Ronnie Lewis and wife Diann, Jerry Wilson and Darlene Brockey and husband Paul. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He will also be remembered by his many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Anne Roach, brother-in-law Jack Tipton and sister-in-law Mary Wilson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, June 6, from 6 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Glade United Church of Christ, 21 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 7, with Rev. Gerald Hanberry officiating.
Interment private.
