Kenneth Scholl, Jr.

Kenneth William Scholl, Jr. passed peacefully in his home, surrounded by his wife and children, on the morning of Friday, June 22, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth & Madeline Scholl.

Kenny is survived by his soul mate Rhonda (Rogers) Scholl with whom he has been with since they were 15 years old, and were married for 40 years.  He is also survived by his children, Jason Scholl (Kim), Josh Scholl (Sara) and Sheri (Scholl) Maith (Rudolph); his eight grandchildren, Taya, Haylee, Cameron, Joshua, Jr., Emma, Trent, Ava  and Chase whom he loved dearly.  In addition to his immediate family, he is also survived by his siblings, Linda Terpay (John), Bobbie Boteler (Mike), Debra Scholl, Larry Scholl (Jackie), Richard Scholl (Robin) and Robbie Scholl; along with many other family and friends that will miss him deeply.

Kenny was truly one of a kind, graduating with a Ph.D from the school of Hard Knocks. He had an uncanny knack for storytelling and teaching which resulted in a lasting impact on many lives.  His limitless vault of knowledge was beyond impressive and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with anyone.  He could fix any problem and loved a good engineering challenge.  Kenny was charming, giving and kind, but was also known for his grit and no nonsense attitude.  He will always be remembered for his immense sense of humor that could be matched by no one.

Kenny was great at being the Jack of All Trades.  Some of his favorite things were being a master painter, an avid pool player, cooking delicious meals, building custom birdhouses, playing cards, gardening, tinkering and just having fun.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Burial will be held at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home in Frederick.
