Kenneth Purdham

Mr. Kenneth Nelson "Kenny" Purdham, 58, of Frederick, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born November 5, 1957 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Donald C. and Jane Barnett (Nelson) Purdham.
Kenny was a clerk at Kmart in Frederick for many years prior to his retirement. Following that, he worked as a claims processor with State Farm Insurance.
Kenny was a very kind and giving person, and he was a blood donor with the American Red Cross several times a year. He was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan.
Kenny was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. He was the last of his immediate family.
He is survived by many good friends who he enjoyed visiting, including Richard Thompson, Carolyn Hoffman, and Erik Davis.
A celebration of life service will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 11 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Interment will be private.
