Kelly Elizabeth Brosius

Kelly Elizabeth Brosius, 12 years old, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2008 with her family by her side at Children's National Medical Center, Washington, DC following a brief, serious illness.

Kelly was born on December 11, 1995 in Gaithersburg, MD. She is the daughter of James and Patricia ( Kramer ) Brosius of Frederick.

Kelly was a seventh grade student at Monocacy Middle School. She was an active Girl Scout Cadette and a member of St. Katharine Drexel church where she enjoyed helping with the Youth C.L.O.W.

In addition to her parents, Kelly is survived by her brothers; Kevin William and Michael John Brosius; paternal grandfather Lee Brosius and wife Gloria, Selinsgrove, PA; paternal grandmother Sharon Bollinger and husband Carl, Sunbury, PA; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her godparents.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John and Helen Kramer of Sunbury, PA.

Kelly was our beautiful little angel who enlightened so many lives during her precious twelve years. Those who are loved are never gone in the hearts of those they have touched; they are as close as our thoughts, memories and prayers.

Visitation: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Tuesday, November 25th, from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
