Kelly Lucas Kennedy, 37, of Littlestown, PA, passed from this life on Sunday, August 5, 2018. He was the beloved husband of nearly five years to M. Lyndsey Kennedy.
Born on July 15, 1981, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Steve M. and Marcia E. (Sherick) Kennedy.
He was a journeyman electrician and employed at Green Step in Gaithersburg, MD.
He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, automotive repair, painting, gardening, and motorcycles of all kinds. He loved cooking and was always trying to create the "perfect meal" for Lyndsey. Their three dogs and one cat were his babies.
In addition to his wife and parents, Kelly is survived by his grandfather, William Kennedy of Stuart, FL; sister, Casey E. Kennedy of Frederick, MD; nephew and nieces, Thomas, Taylor and Zoey; mother-in-law, Donna L. Knight of Littlestown, PA; brother-in-law, William B. Knight and wife, Meghan, of Indian Land, SC; sister-in-law, Victoria P. Keish of Arlington, VA; their fur babies, Aurora, Titan, Lucky and Budha; and many, many friends.
A celebration of Kelly's life journey will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick with Rev. Tim May officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
