Keith Howard "Whaa Whoo" Stangle, 56, of Keedysville, Maryland, passed from this life to the next on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home while surrounded by his family.
Born on February 23, 1957, in Hagerstown, he is the son of Catherine L. (Beachley) Stangle of Keedysville and the late Howard K. "Tink" Stangle.
Keith attended the Boonboro Schools and had worked as a landscaper with Willow Run Farm and Landscaping in Keedysville. Most recently, he had been employed at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Jackie L. Kerlin and husband Merrill of Hagerstown; one sister, Nancy Siler of Martinsburg, West Virginia; one brother, Kevin Stangle of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and two grandsons, Merrill Kerlin, Jr. and Chase Kerlin.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Dirting.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. David B. Manley will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
