Keith C. Riland

Mr. Keith C. Riland, 48, died unexpectedly on Saturday May 1, 2010. He was the loving and especially caring husband to his wife Jacquelyn (Jackie) Jones-Riland, whom he married on October 22, 1988 in Frederick, Maryland.

Keith was a devoted and extraordinary father to his daughter Tess, whom he spent every available moment. He enjoyed spending time with and caring for all the children of his neighborhood court. And he fondly cared for his pet Savannah Jane.

He also enjoyed entertaining and cooking for his friends and family. He was a warm-hearted friend to many.

Keith dedicated the majority of his career at AT&T, where he spent 28 years. The position he currently held was Government Senior Specialist Program Manager.

Born on September 16, 1961 in Frederick, Maryland. He was the son of Jean Delores Smith Riland of Frederick and the late Stephen Phillip Riland.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter Tess McClaughry Riland of the home. Mother Jean Delores Smith Riland, his twin brother Aaron Phillip Riland of Frederick and brother Chad Stephen Riland of Loveland, CO. Brother and sister-in-laws; Jerry and Debbie Jones, Sharon and Allen Smith, Lisa and Douglas Horner, Richard Jones, Cheryl and Brian Dant and Damien and Deanna Teal.Father-in-law Carroll A. Jones. Aunt Linda Orndorff. Uncle Brent Bell, Grandmother-in-law Anna V. Pierce and also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, along with other Aunts and Uncles.

He was preceded in death by a Grandmother Alice Bell, brother-in-law Christopher Jones and his mother -in-law Shirley Jones.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Thursday May 6, 2010 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Services: Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday May 7, 2010 at the All Saints Episcopal Church, 106 West Church Street, Frederick, MD.21701.
