Keith Robert Woodhams, Sr., 1956 - 2018
Keith Robert Woodhams, Sr., 62, of Rohrersville, Md., formerly of Bethesda, Md., passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 in Bethesda, Md. Born February, 21, 1956, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Charles Woodhams and survived by his mother Anne Woodhams.
Keith graduated from Walt Whitman High School, Bethesda, Md., in 1974. He started working at Bethesda Iron Works and then Monahan’s Electronics for many years. In 1990, Keith began his own company as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cartronics, Corp., formerly Sound Expressions, Inc. providing automotive electronics service around the Maryland, DC, and Virginia region.
Keith was a member and sang in the choir at Bethel United Methodist Church in Rohrersville, Md. He was also a board member at the South Mountain Little League where he enjoyed announcing at games and maintaining the fields and facilities. He also volunteered in community events, such as announcing at Boonsboro High School football games where his children attended.
Keith loved his family unconditionally and always spoke as a proud father. With his infectious personality, he loved making friends and getting to know others, even strangers. Known as “Mr. Mechanic,” he was truly a jack of all trades and handyman, fixing anything in need of repair and always helping those in need. When he wasn’t engaged with his children’s activities, he found every chance to sing karaoke, with many songs portraying his own versions of the good ole times to rocking to the oldies.
Keith is survived by his wife, Monica “Nicki” Woodhams of Rohrersville; daughters, Cassandra Spangler and husband Sean, Katrina Woodhams, and Caroline Mazzocchi and husband Brian; sons, Keith Woodhams, Jr. and wife Corinne, and Cory Woodhams; and five grandsons, Benny Sigler, Jr., Parker Woodhams, Alex-Zander Spangler, Liam Mazzocchi, and Radley Woodhams; and sisters, Robin Castaldi, Charlene Houtz, Annette Gorey, Debbi Zepp, Janice Hall, Pam Magnuson, and brother, Bruce Woodhams.
