Keith Snyder, Sr.

Keith S. Snyder, 59, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, passed from this life on Monday morning, January 16, 2012 at City Hospital in Martinsnburg, West Virginia.
Born on January 6, 1953, in Berkeley County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late George W. Snyder and Margaret I. (Jacobs) Shipley.
Keith worked for Southern States/W.H. Knodes Sons in Shepherdstown, West Virginia for the past twenty five years.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Dawn (Stevens) Snyder; a son, Keith Snyder, Jr of Shepherdstown, West Virginia.; four sisters, Nancy James, Ruth Shipley, Connie Noll of Martinsburg, West Virginia and Bonnie Frailey of Hagerstown, Maryland; and two brothers, Bernard and Gary Snyder, both of Martinsburg.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lynn Snyder; one sister, Rachel Snyder; and three brothers, John, Kenneth and Paul Snyder.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland. Rev. Brian Persinger will officiate. Final resting-place ceremonies will follow at Manor Cemetery in Tilghmanton, Maryland.
Family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
