KEEFER D. CORRICK, devoted father of Keith Corrick, Debbie Lobbins, Mark Corrick, Denise Seenandan; loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren went home to heaven to be with his Lord on October 23, 2012. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Corrick, and his loving wife of 48 years, Joanne Faucette Corrick. He is also survived by a sister, Olive Pickette and a brother, James Corrick, also originally of Mt. Airy, Maryland.
Mr. Corrick was born on March 29, 1930 in Mt. Airy, Maryland and died at his residence in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was retired from the Maryland Correctional System, where he was a Captain at the Maryland House of Correction in Jessup, Maryland. He also served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday morning, October 29, 2012 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Boulevard, Mt. Airy, Maryland. Funeral services will commence at 11:00 AM and interment will follow at Piney Grove cemetery. Services will be conducted by Pastor Josie Wilke of Evangelical Bible Church.
