Kathy A. Robbins

Kathy A. Robbins, 54, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, MD

Born on February 9, 1971, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of Edgar L. Blank Sr. and Judy A. Beard Blank of Walkersville.

She attended Walkersville High School in the late 1980's

She was a CNA at various nursing homes in the area. Her love of children prompted her to work in the childcare industry.

She had a deep, intense love for coffee. She also had a deep love for animals. Her favorite color was green, and her favorite animal was dolphins. She was ever so passionate about her family, But most of all, she loved being a "Mom".

She is survived by her daughter, Kristy Robbins of Walkersville; a sister, Tina Fox and husband Joe of Thurmont and her brother Edgar Blank Jr and wife Jean of Walkersville; as well as 4 nephews, Joseph Fox, Jacob Fox, Jesse Fox, and Johnny Fox of Thurmont; and 2 nieces, Katelyn Blank, and Brittney Blank of Walkersville. 

She is processed in death by her grandparents, Edgar M Blank, and Audrey Blank of Walkersville; as well as grandparents, William T Beard, and Margaret L Beard of Rocky Ridge. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 8, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue in Walkersville, MD where a celebration of Kathy's life will begin at 2:00 pm. Rev. Tim May will officiate. There will be a reception following the service. Interment will be private.
