Kathy Becker

Mrs. Kathy J. Becker, 61, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed away Sunday February 14, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of James W. Becker her husband of 37 years.

Born December 27, 1954 in Olney, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mollie Hall Greer.

Mrs. Becker was a day care provider in her home for 17 years.  She will be missed by the many children she has taken care of throughout the years.  Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach and making handmade cards, especially Birthday and Christmas.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Phillip W. Becker of Frederick, her siblings Jackie Harding and husband Gary of Kingsport, TN and Brenda Bostelman and husband Roger of Frederick, Richard and Denise Becker, brother and sister in law of Silver Spring, MD, Sr. Joanne Becker, sister in law of Notre Dame, IN; her nieces and nephew Ryan Bostelman, Haley Bostelman and Lynda Harding.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Wednesday, February 17, from 7-9:00 pm, where services will be held Thursday, February 18, at 11:00 am with Rev. Tim May officiating.
