Kathleen Marie Marth

Kathleen Marie Marth, 73, of Monrovia, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Kathy was the loving wife of the late Woodrow E. "Skip" Marth, who predeceased her on June 16, 2012.

Born on April 25, 1951, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Marchone, Sr. and Mary Erlenbach Marchone.

Kathy was a special needs school bus driver with Montgomery County Public Schools for 18 years before her retirement.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a natural caregiver, often taking care of family members and friends throughout the years. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas E. Marth (Karen) and Christopher L. Marth; grandchildren Sam Marth, Peyton Marth (Nick Brown), Avery Marth, Jared Streaker, and Ellie Streaker, along with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Kathy is also survived by her siblings, Thomas J. Marchone, Jr. (Linda), Jessie Doucette (John), and Rose Bynaker (Gary).

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any organization of your choosing dedicated to children with special needs.
