Kathleen R. Lewis

Kathleen R. Lewis, 97, of Myersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of the late Roscoe Lewis, Sr.

Born on September 16, 1926, in Hagerstown, MD she was the daughter of the late Lawson and Catherine (Warrenfeltz) Dagenhart.

Kathleen was a longtime member of Pleasant Walk United Methodist Church and loved attending her church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and enjoyed taking care of her home.  Kathleen also loved flowers and her cat. 

She is survived by children, Roscoe A. Lewis, Jr. and wife Nancy, Daughter, Kathleen E Lewis, Gerald E Lewis, Esther A Snyder and husband Jeff, Daughter, Naomi Keeney and husband James; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends from 9-11 am on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland, where a celebration of Kathleen's life journey will take place at 11am.  Pastor Nancy Green will officiate.  Interment will be at Pleasant Walk Cemetery in Myersville, Maryland.
