Kathleen M. Arnold

Kathleen M. Arnold of Frederick, went to be with our heavenly father on Thursday November 2, 2023. 

Kathleen graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Frostburg State University and attained a Masters in Education from Hood College. She had a very successful teaching career of over forty years for Frederick County Public Schools where she touched the lives of many students, parents, and co-workers. She was very active in her local church and community. Kathleen’s truest passion in life was loving and spoiling her 6 beautiful and amazing grandchildren. She had a way of always finding the positive in every situation and placed everyone’s needs before her own. She was truly loved and will be missed by all.

Kathleen was preceded in death by parents Donnan T. Faecke and Karen A. Faecke, and siblings Thomas M. Faecke, Michael T Faecke, and Paul R. Faecke. She is survived by son Aaron D. Arnold(Jamie L. Arnold) and daughter Regina K. McClellan. Siblings Stephen C. Faecke, Patricia A. Cooney (Patrick Cooney), David G. Faecke (Donna Faecke) and Helen Faecke. Grandchildren Brenden, Colin, and Molly Arnold; and Lana, Jordan, and Evan McClellan. And many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is to be held at Stauffers funeral home in Frederick, Maryland on Friday November 10, 2023 from 5-8pm where the family will welcome all who wish to celebrate the life of Kathleen. A Catholic Mass will take place in her honor on Saturday November 11, 2023 at 11am at Saint Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family is welcoming donations in her honor to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
