Katherine Young

Mrs. Katherine L. Young, 91, of Frederick, MD (formerly of Rockville), went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Sunrise. She was the wife of the late Raymond B. Young, Sr.
Born March 31, 1920 in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice Harrod Cuzic.
Mrs. Young was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockville. She enjoyed crafting, shopping trips and going to McDonalds. Katherine was known for her wonderful smile.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children Raymond Young, Jr. of VA, , Alice Hilderbrand and husband Upton of Monrovia, MD, Ramona Martin and husband Charles of GA, Rita Wilt, and Kathleen Fair and husband Clifford, grandchildren Jimmy, Phyllis, Tammy, Upton, Jr., Raymond,III, Jennifer, Jonathan, Billy, Bryan, Tiffany, Alexa, Samuel and John, 12 great grandchildren. She had four brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by two daughters Ann Metz and Mary Katherine Young and her son Patrick John Young..
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, July 24, from 4 – 6 pm where a Rosary will be said at 5:30 pm
Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
